The Lost Masterpiece

The Lost Masterpiece, 9/1/14

An artist surveys the landscape
Picking up his brush he hesitates;
Deep blue velvet holding,
a never ending Milky Way.
Across yellow flowers.
The town looms between peaks,
as the church tower chimes.
A generous representation,
of a silver moon watches.
An owl asks; “Who? Who?”
The artist didn’t know,
his canvas as blank as his mind.
